TJ Sawyer is a new-generation creative multi-hyphenate from London, focused upon cultural storytelling through means of creative direction and image-making, as well as conversational journalism. Born in South Africa to a Ghanaian-American father and a British-Caribbean mother, the 22 year-old allows his broad heritage and experience to inform and shape his work, while also guiding his collaborative scope, with an active focus upon Black-centric narratives through both talent and brand-led projects evolving as a result. This focus, paired with a unique flair and attention to detail, has led to worldwide collaborative opportunity, with the likes of ASAP Rocky, André 3000, Skepta, and Bukayo Saka individually, as well as brands such as Google, Adidas, Converse and Calvin Klein, at this early stage of his career.
