The Global South Justice Summit 2025 is a bold, cross-continental gathering of change-makers from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and their diasporas. Organised by the Global South Justice Institute in collaboration with postgraduate students from LSE, SOAS, UCL, King’s College, Birkbeck, and Oxford, this one-day summit will bring together activists, policymakers, scholars, and artists to turn collective frustration into action.
In a world marked by climate catastrophe, deepening inequality, and extractive power structures, those most affected are too often excluded from decisions about their futures. This summit flips the script. Through keynotes, interactive panels, artistic interventions and workshops, we’ll confront structural injustice and co-create pathways to advance social, economic, environmental, and technological justice on Global South terms.
What to expect:
Strategic conversations on debt, trade, digital sovereignty, climate resilience, and welfare
Real-world tools for building justice from below
Interdisciplinary panels and participatory workshops
A closing reception with live music, art, and drinks
